Born in a laboratory, Ink Institute possesses powerful color mixing technology, currently estimated to be able to mix over 100,000 colors. Each publishing color undergoes repeated testing to ensure excellent compatibility with paper and pens.
Popular colors previously published include Snow Moon Star Shadow, Polar Illusion Dance, Pond Mist Spring Breeze, and Peach Blossom Branch, all with poetic names. New series include Taipei Metro inspired by Taipei MRT stations and a botanical series. A custom color service is also available each month, allowing users to mix their own unique ink color.
The ink writes smoothly, dries at a moderate speed, and some colors have a charming sheen effect.
